When joining Af Group you will help us create unique customer experiences while ensuring that our customers’ goods are duly prepared for arrival.
Core responsibilities:
• Selling logistical solutions to clients and prospecting for new business.
• Work with internal and external customers and suppliers for successful transport by sea, railway, auto and air transportation.
• Support import/export operational processes in accordance with Customs Trade
• Working within the International
Logistics arena, you will be responsible for the following:
• Developing and generating new leads from businesses that might have import / export transport requirements.
• Arranging and attending meetings to introduce the business and develop relationships with prospect customers.
• Working with receivables
• Developing strong relationships with international suppliers to gain the best commercial rates and sourcing new suppliers.
• Updating and populating the CRM system
Education and Experience:
Preferably come with a background as sales skills and business development skills on a business-to-business basis within the Freight Forwarding arena (FTL. LTL, FCL, LCL).
Like spotting ways to optimize existing processes
Speak and write English effortlessly, and you are also fluent in Polish
You must be target driven, commercially minded and customer focused with a can-do attitude and not afraid to pick up the phone to make cold calls.
